Once you see the numbers, you can decide how much an extra bathroom or access to a concierge is worth to you. On the Miracle, we had 2 connecting extended balcony cabins on deck 7. I don't believe the balcony dividers opened; can't say for sure because we ended up cancelling those cabins as one of the passengers in the 3 berth couldn't go.

I have gone on one of the Paradise standard rooms that fit 4 of us where everyone slept in bunkbeds...so I have a general idea about how small the room is. A typical cabin on a ship is probably less than half the size of a average size hotel room. It's quite different stuffing 4 adults into a cabin than a hotel room. I think plenty of ship have cabins connected by interior doors. Some ships have connecting OVs, some have connecting interiors.
